Active ingredients per 2 soft chews (5g):
great treat but not all dogs like, sometimes it takes a few…
We've been giving these to our 6-year-old Corgi/Shiba Inu mix for the past few months as a preventative supplement to help support her joint health. She doesn't have any joint issues yet, but we wanted to be proactive as she gets older. She absolutely loves them and gets excited for them like they're treats, which makes them incredibly easy to give. We haven't noticed any digestive issues or other side effects. While it's still too early to comment on the long-term benefits, we're very happy with how well she's taken to them and plan to keep using them as part of her daily routine.
Overall they appear to contain what's needed. Only one out of my three dogs will eat them, the other two does not like the taste. So I break it up in their food and mix it with soft food to try to hide it.
My Husky gets excited every time I bring these out, which makes giving a daily joint supplement effortless. The chews are soft, easy to portion, and the serving guide is straightforward. While it's too early to judge long-term benefits, I like adding them to my dog's wellness routine, and the detailed ingredient breakdown is a nice bonus.
I observed, many years ago, that glucosamine does wonders for older dogs. So, when I saw this formulation, I wanted to try them on my dog. He loves them and comes running when he hears be opening the jar (his hearing is still quite good for a 10 year old). After using them a while, he is moving better as well. I'm coming to trust this brand as well, having tried a few of their supplements. I'll keep giving them to my dog.
These treats come in a cute heart shape that my dog loves the taste of. Based on the chart, I am to give him two per day. I found that if I give two at a time and he happens not to have eaten already, he will get an upset stomach. So I stagger them out by giving one in the morning and one at night and the problem is gone. It could just be my dog that's like that so you may not have that problem but there are ways to mitigate it.
I appreciate that there's an appetizing aroma to them, and they aren't gross to the touch. They do crumble if you exert pressure on them so if you were thinking of stuffing a pill into them that won't work and the treat will break apart.
Overall these are excellent treats. I can't speak to the listed benefits but they have all the ingredients that we know do help.
I have two Border Collies and have been giving them these chews regularly. They seem to enjoy the taste, and the chews are easy to add to their daily routine. I like that they contain several joint-support ingredients in one product. So far, both dogs are doing well on them.
These have worked really well for my dogs, and they absolutely love them. They don't have a strong or unpleasant smell, which makes them easy to give without any fuss. I've also noticed that they seem to be helping. I don't give my dogs the full recommended amount, but even with the smaller serving, I've still noticed a positive difference. The dogs happily take them, and I've had no trouble getting them to eat them. They're easy to incorporate into their routine and don't require any extra effort. Overall, I'm very pleased with these. They're easy to give, well accepted by my dogs, and seem to be providing good results so far.
I have 3 geriatric dogs. So I'm always looking for something for them to relieve their arthritis pain. And that they'll actually take willingly. They love these chews and take them all quite happily so I'm guessing they must taste pretty good. If they knew the chews were good for them, they might not be so impressed. But the dogs get them every day and so far there have been no adverse side effects . My oldest fattest girl dog is actually able to get up from lying down much easier. So I believe the positive impact from these chews is something that is gradual and will be more obvious after they've been on them for awhile. But they've been on these chews for about 2 weeks and there does seem to be a positive impact - or the beginning of a positive impact. I'll keep them on this product for a bit longer as long as it continues to be digestible and doesn't cause any negative side effects . Financially, they're reasonably priced.
Our pity has has a history of food allergies and so we keep her on a raw diet to keep her healthy. Because of this she doesn't always get everything she needs until we supplement her diet with some other nutrients. One thing we do know is she does have some hip and knee issues in her back. You're really happy to find this hip and joint treat that can help aid in her issues. The treats have lots of different supplements that help with collagen repair in the body and although it's always hard to quantify the results, she does like the treats and we appreciate that she's getting some help in a healthy way.

I'm really happy with these dog treats that are focused on hip and joint care. I'm really impressed with the ingredient list and the amount included in a two-treat serving. It has all the ingredients I look for plus more. It has green lipped muscle and eggshell membrane, which I've used myself, in addition to the glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, turmeric, hyaluronic acid, etc. My dog has been these poking this container with his nose, choosing them over all the other options we have right now.
My senior Frenchie has been taking these 9-in-1 hip and joint chews for a bit now, and he eats them right up. I just throw one on top of his evening kibble as a little topper, which actually helps trick him into finishing his whole dinner. I can't really measure how much they're helping his joints yet since that kind of stuff takes time (and it's hard to tell with older dogs anyway), but he likes the taste and they haven't messed with his stomach. One huge plus for us is that they haven't triggered his allergies. He's severely allergic to storage mites, which makes trying new chew supplements a huge gamble, but these haven't caused any flare-ups at all. He also does fine with chicken, so no issues there. It's also nice that it's a Canadian brand and actually manufactured here. Overall, they're easy to feed, my dog thinks they're a treat, and they seem like a solid option if you're just looking to add a basic joint supplement to your senior dog's routine.
We've been handing out similar chews for years now, but this is the first time I have seen this brand. Like the other hip and joint chews we give the girl, these contain many of the same ingredients that I take myself to deal with sore joints and also to reduce inflammation. The recipe here is very similar to other brands, but it includes a few more items that should help. The consistency of the soft chews is very much like the others. It takes the girl about two seconds to mulch them up and swallow. There has been no rejection, so they must smell and taste great. In the three weeks we've had them, there have been no negative issues come up. The formulation is so close to the other brands that there really isn't much that she needs to adapt to. It's simple enough for us to swap from the other brand to this with no problems. ✓ On the upside, the ingredients list shows no chemicals other than chicken flavouring, which can, and usually is, made of chemicals or the chicken bits are so highly processed that they are, in effect, chemicals. Overall, I'm ok with the ingredients, but when I compare this product to others that are very similar, the price here is high for 100 chews. As I write this review, the selling price is $32.99, about $9.00 higher. ‼️ Going by the label's suggestion, the pup would be getting three chews per day. 100 chews in the container = just over a month's supply, which breaks down to $1.00 per day. ♦ When I use a supplement that is close, but not exactly the same, as this, the price per day is down to about $0.20 per day. Then a squirt of fish oil and maybe a couple of other supplements, and the daily $ value is about $0.45 per day. ► Because of their size, and the amount of each ingredient in each chew, the base rate for handing these out is less when comparing other similar chews based on weight. While the chews look clean enough, I'm not pleased with the fact that this is produced in China. I would prefer if this were made in North America or, better yet, just Canada. This may be for our pup, but quality control is still something I look for when feeding her. 👀 This is the first time I have seen a warning on a dog treat that relates to it being pregnant, lactating, or if receiving other drugs. It's the kind of thing you see on human supplements. We'll keep going through the container, and if there aren't any issues that come up, I may order again, but I'm not pleased with the price.
This supplement comes in soft chew form for dogs. Each package contains 250 grams of chews. The chicken flavor makes dogs willing to eat them without forcing. The chews contain glucosamine which supports joint health. Turmeric is also included for additional joint support. These ingredients work together to help with hip and joint function. The formula is grain free which works for dogs with grain sensitivities. No wheat, corn, or barley in the ingredients. The soft texture makes them easy for dogs to chew and swallow. The chews are designed for dogs of different sizes. The soft form is gentle on teeth and gums. Dogs can eat them without needing to crush or break them apart. The chicken flavor appeals to most dogs. They eat the chews like treats rather than medicine. This makes giving supplements easier without mixing into food or using pills. The supplement supports joint health over time with regular use. Results take a few weeks to show as the ingredients build up in the system. Consistent feeding produces better results. The package size provides multiple chews for regular dosing. The shelf life is good when stored in a cool dry place. No refrigeration needed after opening. These chews work for basic joint support in dogs. Good for older dogs or dogs with joint stiffness. The soft form and chicken flavor make them convenient to give daily.
These hip and joint chews have been a great addition to my dog's daily routine. The chicken flavour makes them easy to give --- my dog thinks they're a treat and gets excited when I bring the container out. I like that they contain a combination of ingredients instead of just one supplement, including glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, turmeric, and omega-3s to support joint health and mobility. The soft chew texture is perfect and much easier than trying to give a pill or powder. I've noticed my dog seems to move more comfortably and stays active, which is especially important as larger dogs get older. The quality ingredients and Canadian formulation give me confidence in what I'm giving my pet. Overall, these are a convenient, tasty, and well-formulated joint supplement that I would recommend to other dog owners looking to support their dog's hips and joints.
I ordered this joint supplement for two large dogs---one who has recently recovered from a torn ACL, and the other, an older german shepherd, who is beginning to show the hip issues so common to the breed. I was impressed to see that this was formulated in Vancouver, Canada (by a UBC-educated neuroscientist, per their official site; if you believe the marketing---and in this case I do---that's him and his beloved Pomeranian on the label!), and that it's such a clean formulation without grains and other allergens, without dubious fillers and flavourings. Every single ingredient in this product is recognisable, beneficial, and is, in fact, something I would (and in many cases have!) taken myself. What's more, it meets the same standards I look for in supplements I take myself: manufactured in a GMP and HACCP certified factory, GMO-free, quality-tested. Soft chews are an easy and super-convenient way to give accurate dosing (and ensure consumption) --- no fussing with extra sprinkled toppings or trying to coat/coax a pill --- but of course, everything depends on whether or not they appeal to the dog(s)! When I opened the container and pulled out one of these small [adorably] heart-shaped chews, I noted immediately that it had very little smell, and didn't feel oily in my hand; that made me dubious... would the dogs find them enticing enough? I needn't have worried. As you can see in my short video, Lucky was so excited about his that I had trouble carrying on filming while fending him off as Timber, always the more skeptical sniffer/eater, gave his the once over before happily consuming it. As I mentioned, these chews left no residue or unpleasant odour on my fingers---that included no smell of rancidity. The chews themselves are soft and will crumble if you compress them---but there was not a dusty/crumbly mess inside the container from them having jostled in transit. The VHP number NN.F4L0 is indeed (I checked) registered on the Health Canada List of Notified Products---with the date of 26-04-28, so I gather it's a recent product release. I think these are great. And so do both dogs! I will likely be purchasing these again.
It's still too early for me to comment on whether these soft chews have made a noticeable difference for my dogs' joints since we just started using them. I'll need to give it more time to see the long-term results. That said, my first impression is very positive. The chews have a pleasant smell, unlike some supplements that have a strong medicinal odor. Most importantly, both of my dogs ate them without any hesitation, which is a big win because they're usually very picky when it comes to treats and supplements. The chews are soft, easy to give, and seem to be well made. I'm hopeful they'll provide the joint support they're intended for, but based on my experience so far, they've been easy to introduce into my dogs' daily routine. If anything changes after we've been using them for a while, I'll be sure to update my review.
My dog is a Shiba, and he's picky and stubborn. If a supplement doesn't smell or taste exactly right, my dog will literally stare at me, look down at the treat, and walk away. I was fully expecting to have to hide these in cheese or peanut butter, but no need, he eats these Dr. Jin's chews right up like they're regular chicken treats. No fuss at all. More importantly, they actually seem to be helping. He's getting a bit older, but lately, he's back to his usual dramatic zoomies and seems way more comfortable after our long weekend walks. I'm really happy with them and will definitely keep buying!
My dog has been in pain and starting to limp due to ageing. He is now hesitating to go out for a walk and always try to avoid going up the stairs at home. I found this supplements can help to support his mobility and he is now feels more comfortable to go out for a short walk after the use of 2 weeks. Dr Jin is a scientist specialize in research for pet supplement and this product is research-backed formula which is proven to be effective. The supplements containing glucosamine, Chondroitin and green lipped mussels that are known to work great together to promote better joint function. It also contains Collagen and fish oil to support healthy cartilage. Each treat is about 2.3grams and in this 250g bottle, it should contain more than 100 dose for a small dog under 25lb. It is super affordable for dog owner. The soft supplement yummy and smell good and can be use as rewards. My dog is very picky on food and he loves these chews. Highly recommend to dogs that needs bone and joint supplement.
My golden retriever girl loves it! Very high quality. You can feel she is more active and jumping around all the time
1- My very picky dog loves them 2-It is very potent All ingredients are natural and it also contains hyaluronic acid which is the best thing for joints supplements. Even my wife and I take hyaluronic acid for our joints in powder form in our water (we're 58 and 60 years old). Another thing is my wife had joint difficulty and after taking ours (hyaluronic powder) for three months she stopped having join pain. She hasn't taken any after that (it's been one year) and she's still good. It is pricey compared to other similar products but two of these five cents size treats contain three times more of the other ingredients than 3 of the same size of similar product (another I have and compare with). I didn't taste them myself (like I did with another dog treat to impress or gross out a friend once ) but I did smell them. It smells good (like I haven't had a disguss from it) and it smells smooth (not a strong smell). Excellent buy.
Getting my oldest dog to take supplements is usually a game of hide-and-seek with peanut butter, cheese, or whatever else I can find to entice him. Not with these! The moment I open the container, I get that familiar "Is that for me?" look, complete with a wagging tail and happy dance. The soft chews have a nice chicken smell (well... nice if you're a dog! 😂), and my old pup happily gobbles them up like they're a reward instead of a supplement. The other day he seemed a little more eager on our walks. He wasn't as slow as usual getting up after his afternoon naps, and chasing chipmunks that perouse our backyard suddenly became his priority again. While every dog is different, I definitely feel like he is starting to be moving with a little more pep in his step. I also like knowing they're made with glucosamine for joint support and turmeric for natural anti-inflammatory benefits. The grain-free formula is another bonus since I try to stay away from for all my pets and these haven't caused any tummy issues on my dog. They're made in Canada, registered as a Veterinary Health Product, and contain clean ingredients without corn, soy, or artificial flavors, which gives me extra peace of mind. If your furry best friend is getting older or just needs a little extra support to stay active, these soft chews are worth trying. Judging by my dog's excitement when I grab the the tub, he'd give them two paws way up! 🐾
