I am very happy with this supplement. My dog often eats things that he shouldn’t be eating , including dinner leftovers from my children. The result is often measured in the output, meaning diarrhea and gases.
This probiotic is now part of my dog’s daily treats and the results are quite obvious. Even cleaning in the backyard had become easier since the poops now stay in shape.
The dog really likes the taste of these kibbles too, he is most excited when receiving them.
The formula is well labeled and I am impressed with the composition, several types of probiotics strains are included and some other good ingredients as well, such as pumpkin seed powder, chicory root and oligosacharides.
Very pleased with this supplement, it really made a difference for my dog.
Thank you
Awesome quality wonderful aroma my dog was interested right away. Excellent ingredients reasonable price and quick shipping. We'll definitely reorder. Works as described. My dog's stomach is settled.
These probiotic chews are one of our dog’s favorites from his daily “treats loot". I hide a bunch of treats for him to find every morning and interestingly, he tends to find these probiotic chews first before the others.
It is safe to say that they are tasty and that makes it easy for me to top up his probiotics and immune support supplements. Since he can be picky from time to time, the fact that those chews are appealing for dogs really makes a difference. The chews smell a bit like chicken broth, they are not tough, nor crumbly. And the size is just right so that he can easily swallow with no problem. The listed ingredients seems beneficial for a dog’s health. So far, we did not notice any issues with his digestion after we introduced the chews. I’m usually into prevention instead of cure, and these give me additional peace of mind.
These are good probiotic shoes for dogs. They are so easy to give them as a treat/supplement. I have four dogs so they won't last me very long making it a little bit expensive to buy in the long run, but there are maybe many natural ingredients from Canada. Great way to add an additional supplement to their diet.
My dog loves these and gets excited every time he can have some. They don’t have a bad smell, just smell like a normal treat. I’ve noticed that his hair is smoother and shinier since using them. It’s also helped with his pooping schedule. He doesn’t get constipated as easily and his poop is more solid now rather than diarrhea like.
Pros
Great treat for my two beagles. They love them and they work really well as reward treats. They don’t upset their stomachs at all, which is a big deal for my guys. They get excited every time I take them out so clearly these are a hit.
Cons
Hard to tell exactly how much digestive benefit they’re getting, but that’s pretty normal with supplements like this. At the very least, they enjoy them.
General Use & Performance
Easy to give, good size, and gentle on their stomachs. Perfect for training rewards or daily treats, and they seem to genuinely look forward to them.
Would I Order Again?
Sure, my beagles love them, and they make great reward treats.
I’ve been using this with Jasper and Duke as part of their food routine. Beagles are willing to eat things that probably shouldn’t technically be classified as food, so digestive consistency is something I pay attention to.
I like that this combines probiotics, prebiotics and digestive enzymes instead of having me add three different things to their meals. Both dogs take it without turning dinner into negotiations.
What I watch for is boring but important: normal stools, no extra gas, no upset stomach and no sudden refusal to eat. Both have tolerated it well.
I’m not going to pretend I can measure “immune support” by looking at a beagle for two weeks. Supplements like this are more about supporting the routine than producing some dramatic overnight change.
I also introduce anything digestive gradually because giving a dog a full serving of something new and then acting surprised when his stomach disagrees seems unfair.
So far, easy to give and well tolerated by both dogs.
Many Poodles and doodle mixes are notorious for having delicate "glass stomachs" that get upset over the smallest changes, so adding a daily gut supplement to their routine is almost a necessity. These soft chews make the process completely stress-free because they come in a chicken flavor that my picky 20 lb poodle mix treats like a normal daily reward.
The formula packs a solid mix of prebiotics, probiotics (6 billion CFU across five strains), and digestive enzymes to support overall gut and immune health. Since the recommended dosage for a small-to-medium dog is just one chew per day, a single tub lasts a good while. After giving these regularly, I've noticed an improvement in stool.
The brand feels trustworthy, and the ingredient profile is well-rounded for everyday maintenance.
The main thing to keep in mind is that gut supplements take a bit of time to build up in their system, so you won't see overnight results. But if your dog deals with frequent digestive sensitivity and hates taking pills, these soft chews offer a convenient, hassle-free fix.
We already use other products from Dr. Jin Pet Essentials and have been really happy with them, so I was happy to try these digestive health chews as well. My dog likes them and has no problem eating them, which makes giving them much easier.
I like that they combine probiotics, prebiotics, and digestive enzymes in one chew rather than having to give several different supplements. The soft chews are easy to give with his food, and the container has a good supply.
So far, I’m very happy with these and will continue using them.
I like how easy these are to add to a dog's daily routine. They're soft, chicken flavoured chews, so there's no powder to mix in or liquid to try to convince a dog to take. Each serving provides probiotics along with digestive enzymes, making this a convenient all in one option for digestive and gut support.
I also like that the dosage is based on the dog's weight, rather than treating every dog the same. With smaller and senior dogs especially, I appreciate having something that's straightforward to portion.
Likes:
- Soft chew format
- Chicken flavour
- Includes probiotics and digestive enzymes
- Easy to add to a daily routine
- Weight-based serving recommendations
- 100 chews in the container
Things to Note:
- This is a supplement, not a replacement for veterinary care if your dog has ongoing digestive problems
Overall: A convenient way to add probiotic and digestive enzyme support without turning feeding time into a production. I like the soft chew format because it keeps things simple.
My dogs absolutely love these vitamins. They've been taking them for quite a while now, and I've noticed some positive changes in their overall health since adding them to their daily routine. Their coats seem healthier and shinier, and they seem to have good energy and are doing well overall.
They're small and easy for the dogs to take, and there isn't any strong or unpleasant smell to them. My dogs actually enjoy getting their vitamins and have no problem taking them.
I've been really happy with the results so far, especially since they've been using them consistently for a while. I can't say these vitamins are solely responsible for the changes I've noticed, but I do feel they've been a positive addition to their routine.
Overall, these vitamins have been a great addition for my dogs. They're small, don't have a bad smell, the dogs love them, and I've noticed their coats and overall condition seem better since they've been taking them consistently.
I like the combination of probiotics and digestive enzymes in these chews. Each two-chew serving provides 6 billion CFU of probiotics, including Bacillus subtilis, Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, along with a 200 mg digestive enzyme blend containing lipase, protease and bromelain. The probiotics are the part I find most useful because they can help support a healthy balance of bacteria in the gut. The digestive enzymes have different jobs too, lipase helps break down fats, protease helps break down proteins, and bromelain is a protein-digesting enzyme. So the formula makes sense for supporting normal digestion rather than just throwing a bunch of ingredients together. I also like that it's a fairly substantial probiotic dose and that the product is specifically formulated for dogs. The main thing I would have liked to see is more detail about the individual amounts of each probiotic strain and enzyme. Knowing that there are 6 billion CFU and 200 mg total is helpful, but you can't really judge the strength of each individual ingredient from that. Overall, I think this is a good, well-rounded digestive supplement, especially if you're looking for both probiotics and enzymes in one product. I'm giving it four stars because I like the formula, but I'd prefer more transparency. **Suzy**
I'm really happy with these probiotic dog treats. They're calling these treats a 'complete digestive, gut health, and immune formula' because probiotics can help to strengthen those areas of the body. We give our dogs treats multiple times a day and they are always treats that have some sort of healthy ingredients and or supplemental purpose; We don't just give our dogs empty calories or wheat-based treats. I'll let the dogs choose from two different containers each time and they choose this one often. We give our dogs a remedy in an oil form and the units are quite small, so one unit fits on the surface of each treat perfectly. They look forward to this everyday. I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but I really love the imagery and label! Not only that, it outlines everything necessary for proper Canadian labeling.
We give these to our dog as daily treats, and he takes them without hesitation ... no need to hide them in cheese or peanut butter. He doesn't have any specific digestive issues, but he is very active with lots of running and is on a raw diet. We rotate between these probiotic chews and glucosamine. We don't view them as a substitute for proper nutrition, but rather as an easy reward that might provide a little extra gut and enzyme support on the side. The chews are soft, have a strong scent dogs like, and come in a 100-count tub that lasts a good while depending on your dog's weight. If you're looking for a digestive supplement that doubles as a treat your dog actually wants to eat, these do the job.
This supplement puts three pieces together in one scoop: prebiotics, probiotics, and digestive enzymes. Most products cover one or two of those. Having all three means the good bacteria arrive with something to feed on and the food gets broken down along the way. The probiotic count sits at 6 billion CFU across five strains. That is a solid number for a small dog without being excessive. Five different strains cover more ground than a single strain product, since each one settles in a slightly different part of the gut. Five prebiotics act as the food source. Without them, probiotics tend to pass through and do very little. This is the part a lot of cheaper formulas skip. The six digestive enzymes matter most for senior dogs. Older dogs often stop producing enough of their own, which shows up as gas, loose stool, or food sitting heavy. Added enzymes take some of that load off. Serving size is set for small and senior dogs, so you are not guessing at how to split a large dog dose. It mixes into wet or dry food easily. If your dog has soft stool, frequent gas, a picky appetite, or is simply getting on in years, this covers the main bases in one product instead of three separate jars. Give it two or three weeks before judging results, since gut changes take time to show.
I really like these probiotic chews for my dog. They're soft, easy to give, and have a chicken flavor that makes them feel more like a treat than a supplement. I also like that they combine probiotics with digestive enzymes, so it's a convenient way to support overall digestive health without having to give a bunch of different products. Another big plus for me is that this is a Canadian brand. I always appreciate being able to support Canadian companies when I can, especially when the product itself is good quality. There are 100 chews in the container, so there's a good supply, and the chews are easy to incorporate into a daily routine. Overall, I'm really happy with these and would definitely recommend them to other dog owners looking for an easy digestive-support supplement.
★★★★★ 5 Stars --- Dogs Love Them and They Feel Fresh My dogs absolutely love these chews. They're shaped like cute little hearts, and you can tell right away that they're soft and fresh rather than dry or hard. Taste-wise, they're definitely dog approved because mine are happy to take them like a regular treat. That makes daily use really easy, especially if you're already giving other supplements. It's still too early for me to say whether they're making a noticeable difference with digestion, gut health, or immune support, so I'll need more time before commenting on that. So far though, I'm really satisfied with the quality, texture, and how much my dogs enjoy them. No complaints at this point.
These Dr. Jin digestive chews are soft, mild, and very easy for small or older dogs to take --- Gracie already enjoys the Dr. Jin probiotics like a treat, and these have that same "no hesitation" appeal. The blend of prebiotics, probiotics, and enzymes is designed to support digestion without upsetting sensitive stomachs. One detail shoppers won't know: the formula is intentionally low‑intensity, so it layers well with existing probiotics and doesn't overload the system. A calm, friendly supplement for everyday gut health.
Great treats for the neighbourhood dogs! I order these to give to all the neighbourhood dogs during their walk and stop-by visit to our front door. They all now look for me when they pass by and when I see them, I grab these treats and they love them. Not a single dog has turned his/her nose up at them yet. I've tried other treats and had mixed responses but not these. Your dog will love them! To top it off, these are good for their digestion.
These are soft, chicken flavoured dog chews. Has 5 prebiotics, 5 strain probiotics and 6 digestive enzymes. Supports normal digestive function, a healthy immune system, and a balanced intestinal microflora in dogs. Number of chews to give are weight related, directions on jar. Each jar contains 100 soft chews. Been giving for about a week, no definite results so far.
We've tried a few different Dr. Jin products and they've all been excellent quality, so I had high hopes for this one. This probiotic supplement didn't disappoint. My dog takes it like a treat, no fuss at all, which is a huge win since he can be picky about supplements. We've been giving it to him for a while now and haven't noticed any negative side effects. He seems to be doing well on it, and I like that it combines prebiotics, probiotics, and digestive enzymes all in one product instead of having to give multiple supplements. Would recommend for anyone with a small or senior dog looking to support their gut health. This is one that I will be repurchasing.
One of our dogs has just been put on a second round of antibiotics for a persistent skin infection. Poor guy is not digesting well, which is hardly surprising---and upsetting to see in a beloved pet. He is usually a robust eater with regular bowel movements, so I'm hopeful these probiotic chews can help to get his system back in balance. Both of our dogs are on the excellent Dr. Jin's "Immune Support" chews, which contain a more modest quantity of probiotics, but I don't think we started them soon enough to spare him this nasty infection, and now that the antibiotics are doing their thing, I think he would benefit from this more potent dose. Still, I am introducing them verrry slowly. The last thing I want to do is give the poor guy even more discomfort! We've been giving Dr. Jin supplements to both dogs for a while now, so I know and trust the brand---but with probiotics in particular, it can be a (ahem) crapshoot. One thing that sure makes life easy is that I'm not trying to coax another capsule down his throat, nor trying to get him to eat a 'sprinkle' on top of food he's not currently inclined to eat. He loves these chews (both dogs do) and seems happy enough to eat a couple even in his current state. As I say, I've been ordering Dr. Jin's products for a while now. Here's why I like them: I'm impressed with their clean formulations (free of grains, allergens, colourants, artificial flavourings) and their high production standards (manufactured in a GMP and HACCP certified factory, GMO-free, quality-tested). The dogs love the small soft chews, and happily receive them as treats. I can control dosing carefully by how many chews I give. (I also *love* the fact that they don't leave a funky smell, or oily residue, on my hands. They have a toasty dog-biscuity smell... nothing offensive or over-the-top. I don't even detect 'chicken' in the smell, though it appears the dogs do!)
