Works well for both of my border collies. It lathers nicely, rinses out easily, and leaves their coats soft and fresh without an overpowering scent. Very happy with it!
I just used this on my senior Frenchie, and it was such a gentle option for his bath, especially with his allergies flaring up right now and making his paws raw. It lathered up just enough without getting overly sudsy like human shampoo, which was a relief since there was less risk of foam running into his eyes while rinsing. I did have to use a few generous dollops to get him covered, but that's pretty typical for dog shampoos anyway. I appreciated how easily it rinsed out. He completely hates bath time, so not having to fight with leftover residue meant we could wrap things up quickly. The scent is practically non-existent, which is ideal for a dog with sensitive skin, and the cap is just a simple push-to-open spout---so no dealing with flip tops or dropping caps into the tub while holding down a miserable, squirming dog. Overall, it made for a surprisingly smooth bath time for a dog who hates being clean. It's a solid, gentle choice if you're dealing with a sensitive pup. I wish it came in a larger bottle size, because if you have a bigger dog, you will definitely be going through more of this quickly.
I really liked this shampoo for my dogs, and that's for multiple reasons. First off, it's not loaded up with unnecessary chemicals, it's paraben free, sulfate free, and fragrance free, which are all things that can cause issues down the line. It does have a mild scent to it, but I think that's more so from the good ingredients used (shea butter for instance). Now, because it's sulfate free, you need to keep in mind that it won't lather up like other shampoos do - it still foams a bit, but know that it's working without being super sudsy. One of my dogs had a lot of hives on her sides from being in the backyard a lot. It wasn't causing her to scratch somehow, but you could see the hives. We gave her a bath with this oatmeal shampoo and her skin has calmed down really nicely. My pups both have short hair (pit mix and American bulldog mix) and they smelled great and felt very soft after their baths. Great product!!
This is an excellent anti-itch dog shampoo with all natural ingredients. There are no harmful chemicals or anything that bothers my dogs in sensitive skin. My dog suffers from skin and food allergies and I have been using the shampoo over the past month for occasional baths and it has worked exceptionally well for her. It leaves her skin feeling clean and hydrated and her fur looks fluffy and healthy after using . It is easy to lather up and it rinses out very well with warm water. It is a little expensive for the small bottle, but it is definitely a high-quality dog shampoo.
I picked this up to help calm my Lab's itchy skin, and it definitely delivered on the soothing front. After bath time, his coat felt noticeably softer, and he wasn't scratching nearly as much as usual. While it does smell nice---a clean, mild, natural scent that isn't overwhelming---it didn't lather very well for my Lab. Given his dense double coat, I had to use a bit more product than expected to really work it down to his skin. Overall, it's a gentle, high-quality formula that genuinely helps with itching without harsh chemicals. If your dog has a super thick coat like a Retriever, you might just need to use a extra pump or two, but the comforting results make it worth it!
Our dog has been scratching a lot this summer, so we tried this oatmeal and aloe shampoo. It seems to have helped. The shampoo lathers well and has a mild, pleasant smell, not overpowering like some dog shampoos. We've used it for three baths now, about a week apart, and his scratching has definitely decreased. His coat feels soft and looks shiny after using it. The oatmeal and aloe seem to have a calming effect on his skin. It's paraben and alcohol-free, which is important to us since we try to use natural products when we can. It rinses out well, leaving no residue that might irritate his skin further. The bottle is a good size and should last us a while with regular bathing. Our dog doesn't seem to mind the bath time any more than usual with this shampoo. This is a good shampoo for dogs with itchy or sensitive skin. It's gentle, natural, and seems to provide relief from scratching.
This dog shampoo uses oatmeal and aloe to help soothe itchy skin. The formula aims to calm irritation and provide relief during bath time. The shampoo is free from parabens and alcohol. This makes it gentler on dogs with sensitive skin or allergies. The ingredients are milder than some standard dog shampoos. Oatmeal is known for calming irritated skin. Aloe helps moisturize and soothe dry or inflamed areas. The combination works together to address itching issues. The shampoo lathers and rinses out easily during baths. It cleans the coat while working on skin problems. The formula does not leave heavy residue after rinsing. The scent is mild and not overpowering. It leaves dogs smelling clean without strong artificial fragrances that might bother sensitive noses. This shampoo works for dogs dealing with itchy skin from allergies, dryness, or minor irritations. Regular use can help manage itching between vet visits for dogs with ongoing skin issues. The bottle size provides multiple baths depending on dog size. A little product goes a reasonable distance when lathered properly. This shampoo does its job for basic itch relief and gentle cleaning. It suits dogs with sensitive skin or those needing a break from harsher formulas. The natural ingredients and free from parabens and alcohol approach makes it a safer choice for regular bathing.
This dog shampoo contains soothing oatmeal and aloe, similar to ingredients commonly found in moisturizing body washes for dry, itchy skin. It comes in a generous 500 mL bottle that should last quite a while, especially if you don't bathe your dog frequently. The shampoo has a strong but pleasant fragrance that leaves my dog smelling fresh and clean after her bath. My dog doesn't have particularly itchy skin, although she does scratch her ears occasionally, and this shampoo was gentle enough for her coat and skin. I only bathe my dog when she starts to develop that typical "dog smell," and this shampoo does an excellent job of eliminating odours and leaving her coat clean and fresh. Overall, I'm very happy with the ingredients, the deodorizing performance, and the long-lasting fresh scent. It's a shampoo I would happily continue using.
This Dr. Jin's oatmeal and aloe shampoo comes in a generous bottle and has the loveliest scent - like warm breakfast oatmeal. It gives the whole bath routine a calm, cosy feel, and my dog relaxed right into it. The formula lathers easily and rinses clean without leaving any residue. A small detail: the oatmeal scent actually lingers very lightly on the coat afterward, so your dog smells fresh and soft without anything perfumey or artificial. A gentle, soothing shampoo that makes bath time feel a lot more pleasant for both of you.
